Our Products

Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC) — Industrial Grade
GCC is produced by mechanical grinding of limestone or marble.• MAKAR sources GCC with median particle sizes ranging from 1.5 to 15 microns, brightness (GE/ISO) of 90–97%, and coatings available (stearic acid or other fatty acids).• Primary applications: PVC wire & cable compounds, HDPE/PP films, decorative paints, caulks and sealants.Available in 25kg bags, 500kg jumbo bags, or bulk (supersacks).• Typical COA includes: D50, D97, whiteness/brightness, moisture content, CaCO₃ purity, and heavy metalsscreening.

Coated GCC (Stearic Acid Coated)
Surface-treated GCC with 0.8–1.5% stearic acid coating to improve dispersion in polyolefin matrices, reduce moisture absorption, and enhance impact resistance in plastic compounds.• Critical specification: coating activation temperature, pick-up value (acid value), dispersibility index.• Primary customers: masterbatch producers, PVC pipe manufacturers, and HDPE bag film producers.

Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) — Technical Grade
PCC is manufactured via a controlled carbonation process, yielding highly uniform crystal morphologies(scalenohedral, rhombohedral, aragonite) with much narrower particle size distributions than GCC.• Superior optical properties (brightness 96–99% GE) and high specific surface area make it ideal for premium paper coatings and speciality polymer applications.

Food-Grade Calcium Carbonate (USP/FCC)
Food-grade CaCO₃ complies with the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) and is used as a calcium supplement, dietary mineral, and food additive (E170).• Products supplied with full heavy metals analysis (As, Pb, Hg, Cd), microbiological testing, and country of origin certification.• MAKAR holds an FDA Food Facility Registration through its import partner for all food-grade products.

Pharma-Grade Calcium Carbonate (USP / EP)
Pharma-grade CaCO₃ meets United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) and European Pharmacopoeia (EP)standards.• Used as a tablet excipient, antacid active ingredient, and mineral supplement in OTC drug products.• Full analytical documentation includes: Identification (IR), Assay, Heavy Metals, Loss on Drying, and Acid-insoluble substances.• Sourced only from GMP-certified manufacturers with complete DMF (Drug Master File) support capability.
